The Pedestrian Emergency Braking (PEB) system,
available on Levante, Ghibli, and Quattroporte, is a
function integrated in the Forward Collision Warning
that provides the driver with acoustic and visual
warnings on the instrument cluster display.
Maserati’s Highway Assist System automatically
keeps the vehicle centered in its lane, at a
pre-selected speed and chosen distance from the
vehicle ahead—decelerating the vehicle as traffic
The system monitors vehicles ahead and warns if
the approach could result in a collision. If the
driver does not intervene, the Autonomous
Emergency Braking system applies the brakes
to reduce speed.
Adaptive Cruise Control maintains a pre-set
distance from the vehicle ahead.6 With Stop
& Go, the car adjusts to the speed of the
vehicle in front until it stops, if the stop
is less than two seconds.
